redssinpgh
When I am sitting at a red light, my idle starts to fluxuate, and my truck wants to surge forward. This has happenes a few times a week. Sometimes I really have to stand on the brake so I don't hit the car in front of me. What do you think is causing this? Thanks, Mike

Might also check the TPS, and for vacuum leaks. Those have been the most troublesome for idle problems in my experience.
tawss04
These trucks do not have an idle control motor. Check the thottle plate to see if there is carbon build up, these trucks or popular for that. Just go to the auto parts get a can of thottle body cleaner (not carb cleaner) and an old tooth brush and clean it up.
