I'm on a personal quest and want to track down my family roots in Northhaven County, NC; specifically Gaston township, on the north shore of the Roanoke near I-95 and the NC/VA state line. And this is a long-shot but you just never know how small the world is, so I'm throwing this out there - if you might know of any Poythress's (living in Northhampton Co NC) or Turner's (living in Greenville Co VA) that would be willing to share a little family history please PM me so I can pass along my contact info - I would be grateful. The summer months is the busy season, especially on the shore, beaches. It depends on what you want to do. Again, anytime you go should be nice.
