Just FYI I went to the track after installing the kit with no other mods I went .14 tenth faster so I give this CAI a  since track result are better the dyno.

Track results are no better or worse than dyno results, what IS important is a consistent test procedure and keeping variables to an absolute minimum.

VARIABLES (please add to the list if you can think of more):

Dyno Variables:

1. Coolant temp

2. Intake temp

3. Oil temp

4. Tire temp

5. Tire Pressure

6. Atmo altitude, temp and humidity

7. Tranny temp

8. Measurement System error (rpm and torque)

9. Launch RPM

10. Shift RPM 1st to 2nd gear

11. Shift RPM 2nd to 3rd gear

12. Wind speed

13. Wind direction

14. Steering Corrections

15. Measurement System error (Time and Speed)

Items 1 to 7 are the same in each list. Using track times has nearly twice as many test variables as dyno testing. But like I said, if each are done consistently with an eye towards error analysis and statistical repeatability, then both are valid testing methods for making tuning decisions. I love the track but with a list like that above I see no reason why the track is less prone to error.
