6.0ss Posted October 7, 2005 Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 I have noticed that my trans and front diff are starting to show the abuse of 22's and a radix with a TC. THe trans has shown some minor slipping and once every couple of days forgets for a few seconds that there is a first gear from a standing start up at lights. I am taking the truck in on monday for the dealer to warranty what they can, then I want to upgrade the trans. I have a transgo shift kit and trailblazer TC and metal accumulator piston What should go in this thing for me not to worry about it anymore. I have 33k on the truck and 18k is with the radix! Part #'s please or Zipp if you want to chime in can I just buy the parts from you? Also, is there anyone in chicago area that does good transwork? I have a few resources but I want to see if there is anyone that knows anyone good! THank you in advance for your help guys, I appreciate it. Next level down would be a Jag trans, but even a 80 with a shift kit is better than the best parts you can put into a 65 housing, no matter who builds it.
