rico750sxi Posted August 12, 2003 Report Share Posted August 12, 2003 Just spoke to Mike at SPE in regards to using the Proflash on the SS. HE called me which was nice.The programmer has two perfromance tuning options(tow and performance) as well as different octane programming. Depending on what you decide on you can remove non, some, or all TM. He also said that with the 93 octane perfromance program the rev limiter is raise to about 5900 RPM and the shift points are bumped as well. This program also firms the shifts. Of course the programmer can remove the speed limiter and change for tires and what not. He recommended some ways to go as far as a first tune on the truck and where to go from there. In additon, if I'm not satisfied I have 30 days to send it back to get my money back. I think I have found the programmer I'm going to use.
