SSAlaska Posted January 12, 2006 Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 I have a question fellas, I am looking to build up the system in my SS. The First thing I am going to do is a head unit. Right now I am looking into a Sirius/Ipod ready head unit. Any suggestions? Has anyone replaced just their head unit? I plan on using the adapter that keeps the chimes. Will it enable all of the factory speakers and sub? I dont want the sound quality to go down. Eventually I am going to install a 4 ch amp, and a 1 channel. Any advice? Please help. Thanks in advance. dawgbone Posted January 12, 2006 Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 I'm very interested as well...as my factory HU seems to suck after installing a little bass...I want NAV along with a changer...BUT I want to keep all of my steering wheel controls.....I was looking into the Eclipse HU with the HDD...but still concerned about the steering wheel controls... Don't mean to add to the thread...but does anyone know of any blue tooth retrofit....like something that could come out of a Caddy?
