SSuperSport
Can anyone tell me the exhaust size all the way back on a '06 SSS. I made a few phone calls and the dealership had no idea, Magnaflow stated 2.5" in and 3" out and Flowmaster had no idea. I jost don't have a pair of calipers handy to measure myself. Thanks!! orion :: SS
If it's the same exhaust on an '03...it's DUAL 2.75" off the headers and back into the muffler....then dual 3" exits (except only one is functional, the other is a resonator)...then the "Y" where the dual 3" combines...then it blows up to 3.5" to go over the axle and exit. - Brian
Jonmalibuss
Actually from the manifolds just past the cats is 2.5" I gaurantee it! This is also the only part of the exhaust system that is actually stainless. The factory cat back portion is 2.75 and is aluminized steel tubing dual into the muffler. SSuperSport
Thanks for the replies!! I will get out when there is some light and measure. I did just come up with the formula: circumference X .31831 = diameter. I will report back with my findings. Kevin
SSuperSport
OK, I got out and measured today and what I came up with is 2.75" going into the muffler and 3" coming out. I measured just behind the tip and got 3.50". Kevin
