Duner
OK guys........... enough arguing about beating up on a Hemi. Everybody knows that the performance of any engine can be greatly effected by the choice of transmissions, rearend gears, regular cab, club cab or quad cab and of course - 2 or 4wd. You can put any engine you want into a dump truck and it will still be a slow POS! Who wants to RACE THE TRUCK? The Truckin' Nationals event is coming up here in Phoenix on October 11th and 12th. There's a Show & Shine portion, Drag Racing, Tough Truck competition, Monster truck races, Bikini contest, and a Vendor area with all kinds of new parts and goodies for your trucks. They also have new trucks from all 3 of the major manufacturers that you can go test drive on an off-road track! 2 years ago - Ford brought out a car hauler full of Lightnings that you could sign a waiver on and make a full pass down the track with! If you guys want to race against a Hemi then you need to come on out and race one! Last year's event had bunches of quick trucks...... but the BEST races were between the tow rigs! The Cummins Diesel Dodge trucks against the Ford Powerstroke trucks. Most of them were running propane injection and absolutely flew! Here's a video of a couple of Dakotas going at it from last year's event: Dakota Duel - Scott vs Duner Video Truckin' Nationals Webpage
