1stdodge
Here is my new Volant Intake, it was a little bit of a pain to install. I aslo installed the Air Scoop on the bottom. Can feel the difference, engine temp. stays at around 160 - 170 all the time. In Florida, I think thats pretty good.

1stdodge
SilvSteve, Thats the one. Benkey, I will post some. But it looks just like the pic silvsteve put up. Gory99, yes it was a perfect fit, took some time to get the intake on it was a tight fit. It is for the 6.0L

1stdodge
It does not attach to the brake duct, it is actually in between the center duct and brake duct (which kinda sucks). I plan to modify some to get it connected or behind the brake duct. It has two ways of getting the air, from the bottom or from straight on, the straight ahead is blocked a little from the bumper. I think I can adjust it to move it to the center grill and maybe attach it somehow.
Lee
Anyone who knows this intake, what is the tube hanging down between the air box and engine? Thanks.
56chevywagon
It looks like a recirculation canister, similar to the stock intake tube. Not to sure of its purpose though?!

BenKey
Anyone who knows this intake, what is the tube hanging down between the air box and engine? Thanks. I was under the impression it was a baffle for sound reduction. Maybe I'll call Volant and ask.
