Blondie
I'm needing some help here from you ss pros. I'm getting my boyfriends windows tinted on his ss today and we can't decide on a shade. Right now the truck has 18% on the back 2 windows and 16% on the main rear window...the decision is...do we go all over in 15% or just tint to match the back windows. Give me some suggestions. Thanks Jess (Blondie)

fox_forma
just go with 20%, its the closest match and its still dark enough yet you can see out of them at night.
AUTOGUY
20% on the SS, and when I just had my 2006 Crew Done, the guy said 13% matches the factory best. It might be a matter of the tint manufacturer as well. If you go to a tint shop, they shuold know what the best is if you want to match the rears. If his truck is already tinted over the factory tint on the rear windows, then none of this matters.
drako
i got 14% to match the rear
Blondie
i would love to just get the same shade to match the back 2 but the guy at the tint shop said we should go a shade lighter or a shade darker but to me the 16% doesn't look all that dark...guess its because i'm used to looking out 10% tint on my car

Blondie
i'm really thinking 20% would probably be the best...
