Since you were replacing the belt, I thought you wanted pulley size. The amp rating should not affect the belt size as long as it is being bought for the same vehicle. I bought a 200 amp alt for my last truck, specifically for GM truck, and it came with the same pulley size and mounted the same as the stock alt.
