SSS top speed

Hey i was messing with a friend of mine and my 05 SSS hit the governor at 98mph. I thought the governor was at 108. Am i wrong??

You must have a 2wd version. They had a lower speed limiter.

I can vouch that the 2wd isn't 98mph. I hit 106mph and that's where it stayed while I had it floored. Since the PCMforless tune though.... all I can say is that +115mph is easy to hit

After my Zippy tune, I need to upgrade the speedo... There are not enough digits there now

I took my truck to MTI in Houston and after the tune and underdrive pullyes, I got my truck to run 155mph and 350 rwhp

The 05' 2wd's are that way. We have an 06' SS on the lot. I should go check it out.
