montanass Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 Ok so i got in the truck this morning and my speakers dont put out any sound... The head unit acts normal...(factory) and what not... no chime, no onstar/phone bla bla bla... I havent had time to check to see if its a fuse but if anyone has experienced a problem like this please point me in the right direction. montanass Posted June 29, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2006 checked the fuses and they were good... I went to the local sound shop and they told me to look for a short in the system... About a month ago i took out the sub and amp and left my wires chillin out... The romote wire and my ground were touching... the head unit recognized the short and was shutting down the speakers...
