jwachevy Posted July 6, 2006 Report Share Posted July 6, 2006 yes you can run reg fuel in a flex fuel vehicle I have ran 2 tanks and am now on E85 I filled up yesterday, it was about $8.00 cheaper I would think the avalanche you saw was painted by a upfitter and not at the factory . usually Regeny/Explorer etc does the custom painting on top of the factory paint but as you said you should be able to have it painted.
