Can just the 408 make an easy mid 13sec 1/4 truck? I was thinking instead of droping cash into a SC,would it be better to build a stout 408 instead? Just tossing this topic around. Cost: Block work - $250-$500 Rotating assy - $2000-$3500 Cam - $400 Injectors - $400 Build - $500-$1000 Tuning - $250-$500 That leaves heads off and assumes you'll be cutting your stock block.
