RMZracerx234
Hey i don't know a whole lot about nitrous, but i was wondering if it was safe to run in our trucks. If it is wat shot would be the best??
misterp
From what I've seen on a stock LQ9 many guys have been successful with 100-shot, the more careful tuners have run a 150-shot but that's kinda on the ragged edge. MAKE SURE you have a damn sharp tune and give'r hell. Oh yeah, put $$$ into your tranny, the 4L60E won't survive long behind 100+ NOS in factory trim. Mr. P. tawss04
I've been running a 125shot on my truck for a while and it is tuned for it, I have not had any trouble so far (knock on wood ) and still running the stock tranny. I had this set up on my 97 Z71 moded with stock tranny and 120k miles on it with no trouble but that does not mean much, it could let go anytime or run for ever I quess when it goes then I'll beef it up
