walkerda
I pulled my 68 Dodge Coronet Wagon out of storage Monday to prep for a possible sale, it's been in stoarge for the last 2-1/2 years and has accumulated some mold on the seats and the dash. I washed it off with soap and water and will be traveling back up to Michigan to finish cleaning/detailing/fixing the car in a couple weeks. Any suggestions for fianl clean up, I have the car outside now and on the nice days my parents are going to roll down the windows to allow it to air out. I also may go over the areas where the mold was with a mixture of bleach and water or just hit the areas again with warm soap and water. Thanks DW
Barney
I only know of bleach and water. Not sure I would put that on the interior for too long it may bleach out the colors on older Vinyl? Check a product like Tilex and see what they say for warnings on the back. Good luck I dont think Mold will ever go away unless you use Chlorine Bleach. walkerda
Let me know if you remember the name of the product that you used on the vinyl boat seats, otherwise I'll ask my buddy who works at a marina when I'm up cleaning the car after Labor Day. Thanks for the replies DW
