CaliChevyV8
They have to special order them, Part# 70-2265(uncoated). Then they coat them inside & out with the Jet-Hot Sterling Silver and ship em to your door in about 2 weeks for $460!
BILLS04SS
Damn, that sounds like a sweet deal to me. Are you taking it to a muffler shop after you fit your headers? Using Cats? Just trying to figure what route to take myself. Bill
CaliChevyV8
I'm going to have a custom tune done, and I'm probably just gonna have the same guy do the install as well. I'm gonna ask his advice on cats based on how the install will go.
RevolutionRaceWorks
Everything from the SS fits no problemo. I have the ASM's on my VHO and couldn't be happier with them. I really wanted to to Bellanger's but ended up with a great deal from BIG tex on mine. I can't see why it would be a " special" order but either way the price is decent. Good luck with your tune and such.. but remember being in cali.. I would defintely keep the cats.. loosing them only makes it louder not really faster.. I know been there done it. Plus.. cali's emissions are the worlds most rediculus
montanass
whao... are they long tubes?
CaliChevyV8
Thanks I wouldn't loose my cats, only thing I was maybe considering is putting on high flow ones. I just thought some people have said you can't keep your stock cats with these cuz they won't fit or somthin. Do they just mean you can't keep the stock location of them? CaliChevyV8
Right on, yeah after hearin some people say that the pacesetter coating is bubbling and stuff I figured it would be worth it to just do it the right way. drako
sounds good ive been wanting headers, but its just a pain in the ass to install them. keep the cats, theres not a enormous difference. ive been having radix dreams though, and i need to start saving up! CaliChevyV8
I'm not even gonna bother with the install. I figure I'm saving so much on these than goin with the dynatechs that I'm gonna pay someone else to take the headache of installing them! bake90
I just ordered mine from Jet-Hot too!! Thanks Cali!! They quoted me $499 plus shipping but thanks to Cali and this post the guy at Jet-Hot brought it down to $461 shipped. Having my new truck for 3 months now.....and being deployed the whole time....has been hard. But it is almost time to go home!! So time to start spending some of that deployment money!!
