sittinphatt Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I have a 2005 silverado with a DJM 2/4 drop. The problem now is that my passenger side rear is a bit higher than driver side rear. I'm guessing its about 1/2 inch or and inch higher. The place I took my truck to get the drop, they specialize in lifting trucks and dropping trucks in the Houston area. The owner told me that the reason for this is that Chevy trucks have rear differation (something like that) and that's the cause of it. I dont know much about suspension but is there something I can do about this?
r8rs4lf Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Is that what they call the infamous "Chevy lean?"
fordsareslow Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I've heard of allot of people have this when they do the hanger shackle drop. I did the hotchkis leafs and my truck is within 1/32" from side to side.
