BlackSS04
Is the B&M transcooler (70274) good for our trucks? I will be installing a TBTC and Zippy Shift Kit soon and need one.

SSThunder
Is the B&M transcooler (70274) good for our trucks?I will be installing a TBTC and Zippy Shift Kit soon and need one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had the same stuff installed Thursday and so far the temps aren't too bad but I will be adding a bigger trans cooler. Chase and MrP use a different cooler(the thing is f-ing huge). I'll probably add that within a week or so along with some efans. You'll love the TBTC and shift kit. I drove the truck Friday to work and it got a little loose on me when it shifted into 2nd . I wasn't even on the gas that hard but it broke lose anyway. The roads were a little wet but still I was just putting along. Thing shifts like a monster. Better buckle up and get a neck brace lol here's a link to the one I plan to purchase off eBay: TRANSMISSION COOLER HD 40,000 GVW TOW TOWING TRU-COOL
BlackSS04
Do you guys think that would be a better cooler for me than the B&M 70274? And do you think I will be needing E-fans?

SSThunder
anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Both will get the job done. I'm going with the tru-cool because it so huge(8.5"x22.75"x1.25") plus it comes with the thermal bypass valve. Not sure of the other B&M cooler(11" X 11" X 1.50"). BlackSS04
Thanks for the info, I ordered the B&M already so I am going to see how the temps are with it. If they are high still, which they shouldn't be, I will go with some E-fans.
dcairns
They work great Installed my B&M Transmission Cooler
CrAzYMoPaRGuY
I just bought a B&M 70274 about 30 minutes ago... Weird coincidence. They are pretty good coolers, I've used them before. Not sure you'll NEED a fan, it might be overkill depending on your needs, but I'm running a 9.5" converter behind a 650hp engine, I have no worries at all running a 70274.
