rivierakid55 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Share Posted September 30, 2006 just had my trans go hd-2 shift kit installed along with vette servos and such today along with new tru-cool trans cooler and i could not be happier. trans now shifts firm but not too the point of banging (chirps second now ) also with cooler i ran about 20 degrees cooler during rush hour traffic. cooler was a bit more difficult to install having to make new hard lines and such but just the drop in temp is worth it to me. $500.00 parts and labor well spent. Seriously though breaking them lose from 1-2 on the freeway after a 2-1 downshift is always fun because it scares the hell out of people!
