I should have it back next tuesday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, those dealer remanufactured 65e's are awesome!!! Both of them I had lasted 250 miles for the 1st one... and 5 miles (15 mins of driving) ! Make sure they give you at least a 10mile / 10 minute warranty at the least! If they were a cool dealership they would have just adjusted the cost of repairs higher so they could have gotten a 'Serta' which is a complete factory OEM new tranny.. Good luck buddy, I feel your pain <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I just spoke to the dealer and they said it is a "serta" but that doesn't mean shit because they said it could be new or reman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah I forgot to mention I already went through this with my 04 SS and I couldn't get the "serta" transmissions to last more then 30 miles being hard on them. I would drive it easy to get home and then beat on it around the neighborhood and it would break. I rolled a sprag in one, one had a bad accumulator piston in it when I got it so it burned up, and the last one blew the servos out the side of the case! Jonmalibuss Posted October 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 Well after 7 days I finally got it back and it seems to run good even though it shfts "stock" it still shifts fast with the tune I have in there so it doesn't seem to slip and still barks the tires when it down shifts into first.
