Outsource
Guess I'm unlucky. Adding the same shim kit ( 2 degrees ) did not fix my vibration.
santomen
I just had my 06 SS lowered 2" front 3" back and also got a vibration when I take off from a start!! A dealer for Beltech told me I needed the carrier bearing kit (part # 4995) to fix the problem, it cost $69.95. I'm going to have it installed this weekend to see if it helps! Pat. Jonmalibuss
'06 has 1-piece aluminum driveshaft, so nevermind the carrier bearing relocator <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What exactly do you have? VHO, Vortech max, SS, none of the above? 2wd, 4wd, awd? 6.0 or 5.3? torsion bar front suspension or coils?
Jonmalibuss
Now I have the vibration when braking <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you installed your shims did you install the big end twoards the front or the rear? You will want the big end twoards the rear of the truck with just shackles otherwise the problem will not go away.
laynlow77
also if you have aftermarket wheels, take off the little clips that hold on the drum in the rear. they will cause that vibration.
