jon1178 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 not sure if anyone has tried to email goodmark directly but i just did. i sent them an email saying that that i was a member of this site and we had people intrested in thier product and if thier is any way we could set up a group buy with on the hoods for a discounted price if we can get X amount of people to buy. i will let you know what i hear. JSal69 Posted November 2, 2006 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 just got back home and checked my emails nothing from them yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you guys are seriously interested in a Group Buy for the Goodmark Cowl Induction or Cowl/Ram Air Induction hoods I know someone personally that can get the hoods at the lowest price in the Country. He may even be able to do something with shipping. I will call him tomorrow (it's too late now, & I'm sure he's sleeping) Goodmark will NOT sell the hoods direct to the end user. Allow me to talk with him and I'm sure his price will blow everyone away. I will post again tomorrow as soon as I have some more info. I spoke with him this morning. He gave me a price but asked me NOT to post it on the forum because the price is low and it creates problems. You cam PM me and I will let you know what it is. I didn't want to have to do it this way, but that is what he wants. But trust me. It is much lower than any price that has been posted in this thread. He also said he would talk to Goodmark about reduced shipping. But right now shipping is $95.00 if you have it shipped to a Business address, or $125.00 if you have it shipped to a residence. The Goodmark people are at SEMA right now and when they return, he will see if they will do a reduced shipping. He mentioned that he believes that they charge the same $95.00 for 1 to 3 hoods if they are all shipped on one pallet to the same location. But he will check this when they return. This would be a significant savings if 2 or 3 people live in the same area as they could split the shipping cost. If you are in the Lawrenceville area of Georgia you may be able arrange pick up at Goodmark, but you will have to coordinate that with the person selling these hoods because he will have to escort you there. You will NOT be allowed to pick up a hood at Goodmark without him. Below are the 2 hood options for the Silverado, and a pic of the underside.
