Well it's been about a week since this happend and it's still vivid. I bought my SSS less than a month ago and never, ever in a million years fell in love with a car or truck before in my life. I ended up at the Clarksville Speedway in TN after alittle run in with a couple of jerks. The first was in a Mustang last generation body style it was a 4.7 red. This guy drove up beside me with all the bells and whistles reved then proceeded to cut me off. It was funny and all my truck being stock and I hadn't owned my baby more than 24 hours. My buddy was with me and he'd dragged his Camaro for years and was the guiding light to my newest love. So I tracked the guy down....easily. Rolled up beside him to notice he was with his Girlfriend and some people in the back. we were rolling at about 30 I rolled my window down gave his girlfriend a wave and a sweet smile then proceeded to blast past him. He knew what was up and tried to catch up. I even braked alittle to let him know what was up. Then pulled away about a a 8 car lengths. His exhaust and whatever he had were nice and loud.....behind me. The next guy was a jerk in a Nissan Titan 5.6 V8. It too was loud for nothing. He kept getting in front of me then beside me then I decided to let it be known whats really going on. Blasted past him while he had the jump and a car length. It was a good kill because I absolutley hate Foreign Trucks. So enough back story.

I drive a 2004 SSS AWD. The only thing I put on it so far is a K & N F.I.P.K. So we did the math and I should be pushin 360 but am looking for a dyno to find out for sure. Anyways the Ft. Campbell area is Mustang country. Everyone and their dog owns a damn Mustang. Which is cool cause there are like 8 SSS's in my area and so far 2 TBSS's. So I go to the track NOT TO RACE. I said I want to push more than what I was and I was still new at the Launch thing my buddy taught me. Well this older actually cool owner of a 06 Mustang GT rolls up. He had some work in his car plus this was my very very very very first time. In the short I didn't get a good reaction and he beat me but I was on his ass the whole way. I think in a rematch I'd kick his ass. So I roll around to get in line and what do I do I line up with some guy in a Mustang Cobra and he had a ton of shit in his car and wasn't too cool with chatting while we waited in line. I lost again the first time I jumped the gun then we went for a second time I was pulling him down but we were at an 1/8 of a mile down. he beat me by alittle. I rolled back into the line and found a Mustang 4.6 with alittle on it. I got the hang of this thing and this guy refused to show any type of friendly intentions. I can see if this was our livelyhood on the line it was just a little race. Well Okay it was on I turned the music up loud "Animal I have Become" by Three Days Grace. I blew the guy out of the damn track. He stopped racing after that. Serves him right not being friendly. I had the taste of blood and I loved it. So the next guy up was this "Drag ready" Mustang 5.0 it had all the pretty little bobbles. With AWD I couldn't do the tire cleaning this making all kinds of noise and peeling out. He burned his tires for what seemed like 5 freaking minutes which is alot of time in a 1/8 of a mile track. Well he rolled up and I was actually stressing. 1/8 of a mile later I was a car length ahead of him. He stopped racing after that. I couldn't get many stangs to take me on after that. Then comedy ensued. I drove up to the line and some guy in an old beat up Sentra drove up. I thought the pizza boy was lost for a second. It was no contest I was seeing him in my rear view shortly there after. Sad but funny atleast he knew it wasn't about pride it was about fun. The last two races were with a Dodge SRT 4 (Neon) which was no contest both times. Then a Ford Lightning that was pushing 500 horses. I lost that one understandably but his days are numbered. The Red Knight Express is coming.

So the whole night I was pushing 9.5 and then shot a 9.4 so this weekend weather permitting I'll hit the track and write down all the times and give yet another update. Feedback is more than welcome. Oh yeah sorry about the never ending paragraph I just wrote it in the moment. Still gets my heart pumping when I think or tell the story. :flag:

So, you absolutely hate foreign trucks, but you drive one? SS Trucks are made in Oshawa, Canada. LOL :withstupid:
