thomp62301 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 like the topic says i have been getting a real annoying clanking noise when the transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd in my 04 silverado. its getting louder the more i drive it. anybody have heard or had experienced anything like this. i have 200 miles till 36,000, so im gonna call the dealer tomorrow and get it looked at before warranty runs out. i had it in about 6 weeks ago and they said they could not find anything. They say they have no fix for it. How can a noise that loud be normal? or are they just trying to screw me around untill the warranty runs out.
