mr breze Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 Just read the other day on Jayski.com that Chevrolets "Car of Tomorrow" for NASCAR is going to be an Impala SS, and that Chevrolet may be doing away with the street Monte again as soon as '08. My wife loves the newest Monte SS as well, and was considering trading her Tahoe on one. It was either that, the Impala SS or a TBSS, but the TBSS gets terrible gas milage. How does the Monte SS do on gas? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It gets unbelievable mileage, we head up to long Island a lot and if you put it in cruise control you can get up to 30-36 mpg, thanks to the DOD, displacement on demand, and you refuel it with regular gas, 87 octane!!
