vmax2fast Posted November 2, 2006 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 Just drove in the first big snow storm of the year and my fear came true of my newly installed k&n CAI. Water and slush splashing up into engine compartment has a direct path basically to filter. Started hearing a different sound and figured out my filter had got half wet. Wondering if any one else has had this problem to. I'm trying to figure out a way to enclose the filter while adding a custom ram air tube coming from behind the mesh in grill. Any ideas? Let me pop my truck up in the air and i'll look to see what could be fabricated on it to rectify your situation. i have no real ideas off hand.
