turbocody
ran for the first time today at a 1/8th mile track. it was 55 degrees or so. i brought my 26x9.50x16 et streets to keep from spinning and wasting the stock tires. and i still could not get these damn et streets to hook...even at 18psi first run launched off dead idle(spun about 5ft) 2.08 60' 6.01 330' 9.25 1/8th 74.42mph 2nd run launched at 1200rpm(spun worse...bout 10-12ft) 2.10 60' 6.05 330' 9.31 1/8th 73.93mph very happy with the stock times, i can tell there is a lot of room on improvements on the tune and intake, and some from the exhaust. yea, i better forget about luanching from a stop light, the damn tires smoke all the way through first gear and a little into second. lol thanks for listening, Cody

zippy
Sounds like some rather terrible track prep.
misterp
You gents going to Redline next Sunday at 1pm with the LS1Truck guys?
turbocody
track prep was good, saw a few cars dragging the bumbers....and my friends mustang went a 1.49...and thats what he normally runs. i think these bald et streets just are not wide enough, they are only 9.50's...i think i will get some 28X10's here pretty soon. this truck seems to make a ton of power on bottom end, i think it runs better than it's supposed too...but i'm okay with that
