rustproofing

hey guys i thought i'd post this question and what you all recomend,I have an 86 chevy plow truck which is rotting due to our east coast weather,I bought an almost rust free cab(cab corners need a little work) that i plan to use.What rust proofing nethod would you all recomend,i just what to do this once.I was thinking por-15 or an eastwood rustproofer on the frame and cab inside and out,then maybe dynamat for noise,heat.any help is appreciated.
