Stitches040
Hey all ... Well it is that time of year that I really hate. Yup, it is that fun filled time, we all call Christmas Shopping. I figure, since I don't really like the idea of shopping, it really makes it hard to find everyone a gift that really suits them. So, I figure, if we all post up some Ideas ... It would really help everyone get some ideas ... especially for those bigger gifts ... So, Help out your fellow SSS.com Brothers and Sisters ... Post your Christmas gift Ideas .... kaotik1
I like the idea of gift certs, but they are very impersonable... Good thing is the person can get what they want and no returns. I also like to pass out cash, seems bad as well though. This year is all useful things for everyone. Parents are getting a new storm proof door set for the house, one sister is getting a new digi cam, and the other is getting new eyewear. Done! haha As for me you all can send me cash I won't judge you for that!! haha
Generalms02
I don't know where I heard this but, they say people are stealing gift certificates. They say people are going into stores and writing down the number on the gift certificate and the 1-800 number and they keep calling until the card is activated and then they use the number to buy things online. So be careful with gift cards... the say to buy the gift card directly from the store you're going to use it at and pick from the back.... I like gift cards too, but here we go again... thieves ****ing things up for everybody! I hate thieves!!

nixsupersport
i prefer gift cards as well, mainly cause i just do not know what to buy people half the time. dads/father in laws- if they hunt or fish, they have deals that have like a hat and shirt combo, or like a cofee cup and a flashlight and knife combo. moms/mother in laws- candles, anything for home decor, like my mother for instance collects geese items for some ungodly reason, but if you look in any bodys kitchen they all seem to have a "theme" go with that! kids/nieces/nephews- games, toys, even clothes-but it has to be cool, no kid wants to wear a stupid shirt to school after christmas break! grandparents- candy/nut gift sets, viagra-j/k!, even they like gift cards- like to wal-mart or something, cofee sets thats all i can think of right now
