  3. Oh, I hate jerks like that!! I hope that Mother F'er pays! happened to me, never knew who hit me. 3 panels messed up. have to repaint two and replace one. AHHHHH!!!!
  4. H & K P2000 .40 cal Currently teaching the wife how to use it. She's been terrified of guns her whole life but with the way things are going lately she's up to learning how to use one. If anything, just so she could use it in the house. I carry my weapon at ALL times.
  5. Man, i feel your pain. I have decided to completely give up on the competency of other drivers here where I live. For the last few months my truck has receaved five hits in parking lots. One being the worst when they hit the front bumper, left door cladding (tearing it off and bending it to hell), rear passenger side cladding all the way back to the rear bumper putting some nasty scratches and dents. Others have been door dings, other scratches on the bumpers and sides. And it's not like I park in the congested areas of the parking lots. I park where there are no other cars. I don't understand. I don't even think of fixing the problems because it's just going to happen again.
  6. I'm with you too. As much as I hate to say it. My truck has been full of little problems. Windows leaking air, clunking that never stops, spare tire breaking off, a/c going out, dashboard started to rattle at about 10k miles, instrument cluster going out, power seat sliding forward, 3rd break light leaking water into the cab and the problems go on, and on, and on.. I have a ford truck for work, that sucks too. It's sad what these vehicles have become. Now, don't bet me wrong, i like my truck. I will hold on to it but don't think i will be buying from the big 3. Our next vehicle will most likely be a toyota sequoia.
  7. Area 38, sirius radio Fav... LED Z , Soundgarden
  8. i wish i could remember what magnaflow muffler i have. but, let me tell you.. i hate it! i've had it for a while now and the noise in the cab at highway speeds is awful. I am going to switch to flowmaster soon. I do like it in the city though. It sound good from about 0-65 mph. you go over that and it's too loud inside.
  9. No one on the corner have swagger like us!
  10. Here is a good link. http://www.lapdonline.org/lapd_manual/volume_3.htm#504 go to #570 and it explains some about tape recorders and such.
  11. Cheers! How are you going to do it?
  12. Or one more hour of work...
  13. oh man, before i got married i used to wash, wax and detail the inside before every date. my wife, then gf, would complain that i would be tired or that she would slip off the seats. can't have my girl riding around in a dirty truck.
  14. I have the SS, a nissan 300zx and my wife used to have a honda civic. I must admit, i made one of the biggest mistaked in my life when we sold the civic. that thing was well equiped, comfortable and it was giving us up to 45 mpg on good days (hwy). I like my SS, don't get me wrong. I also like my z. it has over 200k and still running with minor repairs. I am looking to trade in the ss for a new truck too. I went to the chevy dealership, checked out the vmax four door, but i was not too impressed. I think that the ss looked so much better from the inside. Now, I am going to regret saying this, but we then left to the Toyota dealership and checked out the tundra crewmax, 4*4 TRD and it was nice. I really liked it. The interior is HUGE! Not to mention the 381 hp that it's pushing, reclining back seats, moonroof. I hate myself right now. sorry guys....
  15. sure, where I work is a checkpoint. a permanent checkpoint. we work at the checkpoint, we check trains, buses, the brush (ranches) and highways. at the checkpoint we encounter countless cases of human smuggling and drug smuggling. you will find people in the least likely of places. we have found them in dashboards, tool boxes, man made trunk compartments, refrigerated trailers, super hot trailers and in simple places like under blankets and under people. we find drugs all over the place too. i think that we average a dozen thousand pounds of dope on a good month. what really gets to me is when people try to use their kids as a diversion. I hate that because the kids don't need to see that kind of stuff. we have our hands tied by the brass when it comes to pursuits and patroling the highways. it is very easy to loose your job when you get a vehicle full of illegals rolls over. as far as the ranches go, we walk alot. we follow sign(footprints or disturbances of the environment) to catch people. we find a few bodies in the hot months, kind of sucks. they don't deserve to die like that. i found some cool vids on youtube that show some of our job. oh yeah, i love my line of work.
  16. dang it!! BP jokes... I really wish I could post more pictures of what we do but I would probably be fired.
  17. Well, as some of you already know i was involved in a car accicent in Tucson last month. It has not been over a month since the accident and i still have not received a call back from the other driver's insurance company. I have left numerous messages in the last few days. What is next?
  18. Hmm.. I like that game. play it once in a while.. I am not going to put my times up, but it's a good game. I like Sudoku better. I suck at it, my wife will do the puzzles that take me 10 min to do in less than 2 min. freak...
