New Ride

With winter on it's way, i figured it would be nice to have something for the wife to drive in the snow rather than the camaro. So we broke down and bought a 02 Grand Prix GTP. I really like the car. She got plenty of snap with the supercharger.

Can't wait to take it to the track and see what it'll do.

 Resident Grand Prix expert here!

Had a 1999 GTX (SLP optioned GTP). Ran high 12's with it. Stock you should see 14.5-15.0 depending on weather, track, driver skill, etc. Stock power is 240hp and about 195-200fwhp (front wheel horse power  ). Very easy to mod. Trans is weak though...surprise surprise huh? So many options for mods, including turbo upgrades, cams, headers, exhaust, pulley changes etc. Best bet is for CAI, tune, pulley upgrade (dont do this one on its own, you will blow the motor right away, must have supporting), exhaust work, like ported exhaust manifolds, or headers. There are stroker kits available, along with heads, etc. For all the info you will ever need...go here...

The record for a 3800 grand prix is low 9's now. The record with the factory supercharger is high 10's. That is a M90 eaton blower on there. Enjoy...
