My K40 Radar detector

I had a K40 radar and laser detector + laser diffuser installed last week. I'm not crazy about the appearance of the extra hardware, but I guess considering the OnStar and XM sattelite radio antenneas I guess that's the price you gotta pay, the sensor for the radar/laser is in the center between the grille and bumper and the diffuser is below the bumper:

 

 

Around here you need one of these even if you aren't one of the crazy ones weaving through traffic - "Victory Red" could just as easily be interpreted as "Arrest me Red". K40 will reimburse you if you get a laser or radar ticket in the 1st year of ownership as long as it isn't in a school zone or you are DUI.
