misterp
I grew up in southern Oregon and we had the same problems with the trees - the water table is so high the tree roots only go down about a yard into the soil, trees blowing over is very common. We had a few red cedar trees next to our house and over 10 years they blew over, fortunately they fell away from the house. In the first pic the tree roots are very shallow and you can see the water table in the hole. WOW!!! That Salmon pic is awsome! I have never seen anything like that before. Make sure to post pics when pigs start flying too! That is an awesome pic. Mr. P.
