WI_Dave
I finally got the truck in to the shop from the accident last month and they offered me a choice of an Impalla or a Charger. I chose the Charger Its only got the 3.5L HO and its not that fast. It is peppy enough for a big car to really want to drive a Hemi version. It does seem very cheap inside but it is almost stipped. It barely will burnout without brake standing it. Over all its an O.K. car but not deserving of the name Charger. my $0.
sdimess84
Thats what i heard about them. Thats what some of the local cops drive around here. Not too impressive
motorider228
My older brother has a v6 charger, i have gotten to drive it a few times and it doesn't burn out. I think it's a nice car though and has enough power for the average driver. It has no problem keeping it's speed going up mountains and all that. They are VERY heavy too. I wish he would have gotten an srt8 or r/t though. He's trading it in for an srt8 challenger when those come out though.
gmc55
Pretty cool that the dealer let you pick your loaner. When i took my truck for warranty work they stuck me with a peice of crap oldsmobile achieva.

motorider228
Haha my dad rented a new suburban with the 5.3 because we had to drive 800 miles and me and him took it out and were doing donuts in it. I couldn't get it to start sliding because it hase an open rear end but my dad did it fine. I also felt like I was going to roll it when I got on it and was turning. I know it was in a huge ass suburban but i'm kind of dissapointed in the power that motor had. When I went WOT it didn't feel like it. They should have stuck the 6.0 in a car that big. WI_Dave
Well I returned it yesterday but on the way I stopped at a Dodge dealer and test drove a Daytona R/T charger. That one moves pretty good. I wish they would have had an srt-8 but oh well. They did tell me that you can now get the Daytona Charger in the original sublime green and this summer in plum crazy purple
