Ron's SS
I hope they do, but something tells me they wont. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Funny how supply and demand isn't driving the price these days unless it's in favor of the oil industry. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Supply and demand has been replaced by Profit and Profit. The supply and demand curve is gone ,obviously one can argue againsty this. But the reality is if demand drops, prices go up to control profits margins. If demand increases, prices go up to create excessive bonuses. The only way to control this price is to stop buying so much oil, yeah that's gonna happen! SSThunder
I think I read on yahoo that we're at a 18 month low for oil price but still the price of gas is high. I would be happy to see 87 octane at $1.89. GM is trying to bring back the electric car they tried to produced in the past.
Jim Coher
I just paid $2.80 for 93 octane Mobil. Funny how the prices go up so fast and down so slow. Does anyone notice if there is a brand of gas that is better than others?
CoolBlueSS
I just paid $2.80 for 93 octane Mobil. Funny how the prices go up so fast and down so slow. Does anyone notice if there is a brand of gas that is better than others? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mine seems to run the best on QT (Quick Trip) 93 octane. I won't buy from alot of the big ones, because their prices are so much higher than the others.

Fireman31
The oil industry is screwing all of us no matter how you look at it. I paid $2.69 here in NY yesterday.
Rays B4U
The oil companies are as "Nervous as a Whore in Church", all a oil producer in the middle east has to do is fart or get a turd caught crossway's and up goes the prices, never to come back down as low as they started from. My theory is they are trying to get us used to $3-$4 a gallon then they'll settle down. I'm still waiting for the price to come back down to around .30 cents a gallon like the good ole days when you could have $10 bucks, put $5 of it in the tank, and use the other $5 for your date and have cash left over. SSThunder
The price dropped again today is close to $54.00. I wonder how much further it has to drop before we see $2.00 a gallon 93/91 octane again?
SSThunder
Light, sweet crude fell $2.17 to $51.85 a barrel today. Hopefully we'll see the price of gas go down now that the price of oil has cropped almost $10. Report any lower prices if you see them. Hankg42
I haven't seen the price go down in spite of all the reports of the drop in crude prices. $2.65 for premium where I go on Long Island.
