Black2003SS Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 I'm sure some of that interior will be changed around as GM cuts costs to bring to production. That radio dash cluster looks expensive to manufacture and will require new tooling. Who knows though. The regular rectangular radios could be on their way out. Ford tried it with an oval radio in the taurus a few years back and it never caught on. But seriously why not change the shapes of the radios? But if you're an OEM ... make the trim around it whatever shape for the car ... Then again ... OEM's are interfacing the radio w/ the car now ... so it's more of a benefit not to swap it ...
