SSAlaska
My baby threw some codes yesterday while idle. She is running great, maybe even a little better then usual. I did a sea foam treatment on wendsday no problems till saturday. So I went to autozone and had them check my codes. Here is what they are: P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) P0155 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1) P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2) Oh and the dude wouldnt even reset the light. I am pretty sure these codes wont reset them selves like others will. Or could my O2 sensors be done for good? And how do I approach the dealer on this one? Just play dumb? 04CHASE
that could be expensive all of your o2's have codes that is kind of weird, i doubt they all just died . i woul dreset the light and see if they all come back.
Big O
I would think it is a result of all the crap burned out when you did seafoam treatment and that stuff went flying by the sensors?
SSAlaska
Will this code reset its self? If not how can I reset it?
fox_forma
not sure but have you tried disconnecting the batter for about a half hour then connecting it again
misterp
I suggested that the O2 sensors could have been fouled, and they might need cleaning - but that's a guess
SSAlaska
Well, I followed the trusty advice from MisterP and Fox. And I am good to go again. I disconnected the battery and waited about 20 mins. Reconnected and good to go. Took a quick test drive around base no problems yet. I am going out to dinner in a bit. So if any issues come up I will let you know. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO was nervous there for a second.
