dmutoza
Lately I've had trouble starting my truck the first time I turn it over, on the second try it usually fires right up but it almost always hesitates on the first try. Anyone had a problem similar? I tried replacing my fuel filter, cleaning my air filter, and switched to an optima, but nothing has helped. wait4me
What year of truck? If it has a IAC valve then i would try to clean that out to see if it helps. If you have an after market fuel pump by chance, Check fuel pressure when you first turn on the key. If it is really low or bleeds off fast, you may need to pull the tank again and fix the leak. It is usually at the rubber on the top of the pump.
Vtec Max
there is a very helpful "ask a tech" section at gm-trucks.com. ask your question there and a gm tech will help you out
