Am i getting screwed?

I was just wondering what you guys think about this auction I just won. I've never had a seller not respond and I'm not sure if he is trying to rip me off:

On March 9th, I won an auction for a set of 17" Escalade rims. I paid the seller thru paypal on March 11th. On March 13th, the seller sent me a message saying he has wrongfully stated in the auction that tires were included, and that he understood if I would want to cancel my bid. I replied that same day tell him to ship them anyway, and send me the tracking number. On March 19th, I sent him a message asking if he had shipped because I had not heard from him and again to give me the tracking number. As of now I have heard nothing from this seller and I am starting to think he is trying to take my money, or he is hoping I cancel my bid( I won the set of 4 chrome rims for $50)

Does you guys think he is trying to screw me over? Should I notice E-bay? or am I just jumping the gun and I should give him some more time?

My bet is that's he hoping you will ask for a refund. He sold them for less than he wanted so he is creating a situation where you will ask for a refund. I guess you can wait forever till he cancels the transaction or go through paypal and file a report. That's my 2 cents. Let us know what happens.

Could be that he is trying to find the cheepest shipping method too while working a full time job (tough to do at times). I'd wait until the 23rd and then send him an email informing him that you feel taken advantage of, and that you will have no choice but to start a claim against him with Ebay/Paypal if he dosen't contact you or provide you with a tracking number by midnight or noon the following day. Or something like that. Keep all corresponce with him saved b/c you might need it later if this goes "south". How much feedback does this seller have? Good luck dude... :fingersx:

i agree with the guys above, i do a lot of buying and selling on ebay and if i bought something on the 9'th and paid for it on the 11'th it is now 10 days later i say contact paypal and ebay and notify them of the situation. i think he is definetley trying to back out of it no doubt.

hes just dicking you around, most likely he isnt going to ship those wheels to ya because he expected to get more money for them. He will prob wait till you file a claim then he will refund you your money and be done with it. I dealt with this same crap from some POS who wanted more $$ for something he listed without a reserve. Only he kept trying to tell me he was out of town, then it was some other excuse, then etc. It was always something different. Even crappier part is if you (-) him on feedback he can do it right back.

After I dealt with all the sh!t I just kept checking the sellers items and was seeing if he re listed what I won, then I would report it to ebay and it kept getting pulled.

Well i got an email from the seller, funny thing is it didn't come thru e-bay, or even thru the email he uses with e-bay or paypal. He said he forgot about my message because he has been sick, and he will get me the tracking number tomorrow. I wonder why this isn't coming thru e-bay?

I think eBay's email system sucks. I'd rather use my email account so I can track emails with my buyers. It's a PITA for me to go read eBay email.

On the very 1st email you sent him (from your Ebay account), there should have been a little box to check off that allowed you to block your email address from him. There is also a little box to check off if you wanted a copy of your email sent to your personal email account.....
