marc_w
I'm thinking it's a different noise....? My Avalanche used to make a noise that they mentioned there... The power steering pump could have been mistaken for a grinding noise...... but to me it was more of a "Kazoo" sound. It only lasted 2 seconds, the instant the truck fired on cold mornings. (usually below 25*F).
deezel
Umm, which part of that thread are you talking about? - loose converter to flywheel bolts - over-sensitive ABS system - starter not completely disengaged from flywheel
smithl3
It looked like the thread was ending on a note saying the tranny fluid wasn't in certain valve bodies and it makes a noise trying to prime or push fluid through... I think. If that is the case, they also said it was an Allsion noise. Last time I checked we don't have allison transmissions, or am I mistaken!! Troyz34
I don't know about you guys but my noise is that. Some of you have to accept that a truck will make noise around corners 5k lbs going around a corner at 30 + miles an hour should make some noise. But This noise that they explained from the tranny is the same noise I have, I'll live with any noise until I KNOW for a fact something is wrong and broke if not then why bother fixxing a perfectly good thing.
