SuperDave Posted December 18, 2003 Report Share Posted December 18, 2003 Hey Gm4Life, Did you have any trouble connecting the air tube to the Volant box? Mine was a royal PITA ! The silicone rubber sleeve was a stiff you know what! And it was almost impossible to get it on, I ended up taking the box back off the fenderwell and tipping it up to install the sleeve. The other gasket is recommended to insure a good seal at the Throttle body. Not really necessary, but it is there way of covering their ass to prevent problems. 1stdodge Posted December 18, 2003 Report Share Posted December 18, 2003 No problem with getting the scoop on, but I did have to zip tie it to the frame where the scoop is. I did not tighten it enough the first time and it rubbed on the tire. Nothing a little electrical tape couldnt fix. I used the exsisting throtlle body gasket and it works perfect.
