misterp Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) Pimp is right, the Saleen is a bad-ass truck. Figure 450-hp and 500-lb-ft and the truck weighs 5100-lbs, so I would expect the performance to be close to that of a 2WD SS/VHO with a Magnacharger - my guess would be low-to-mid 13s... But it's more than just a truck with a blower slapped on, the suspension is different, brakes are upgraded, love the body kit too - lots of goodies on that truck but sure is expensive. Mr. P. TheGunny Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 So got curious enough to stop and talk to the dealership guys about the saleen and the one guy i talked to said it did 0-60 in 4.2 but didn't remeber the quarter mile time, that is the super charged one of course. I agree that the regular 3 valve as they call it would be a good race for a stock ss anyone know what a ss with just a maggie on it does 0-60??
