raandoggy Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Just wondering if there is a center console fridge for our trucks? Found one for the Ford but can't find one for a Chevy! Quote
zanis520 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 ive seen it done before, but it was custom. it wasnt something you could buy at stylin concepts or anything. what they did was took a mini fridge and molded it into the driver side, on the console, so it was right near your shin/knee. then they painted it, along with the rest of the dash. i saw a picture of it open and it had like 4 bud lights or something inside, pretty cool. looks bad ass if you wanna do it. i dont know any of the technical aspects of it though, like what kind of power it would take to keep it running etc. plus you couldnt really put anything in it for a long time, cause as soon as you turned the car off the fridge would shut off Quote

By the way. I've been trying to figure out the last couple of days how to do my SIG. I was checking out the forum when you got yours done and that looks really sweet!! Quote
zanis520 Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 haha thanks, i wish i could take credit for it, but i know basically nothing about photoshop. post a new topic and request one or hit up 2006silverSS, he did mine, and does awsome work Quote
wody Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 (edited) all you would need is a 12v supply, ground, fuse, and a switch. i put one in my service truck. but i don't think it would be practicle in an SS Edited April 25, 2007 by wody (see edit history) Quote
Chevrolet SS Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 I think it would be a cool little project... espically trying to keep the stock center and use the door on that decent about of fiberglass and insulation though....... Quote

raandoggy Posted May 28, 2007 Author Report Posted May 28, 2007 Anyone out there got any info on this? Sure would like to find something like this to hold like a six pack (of coke) or something. Quote
raandoggy Posted May 29, 2007 Author Report Posted May 29, 2007 No one out there have an idea? If not, i'll try and figure something out. Quote
zanis520 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 i thought we went over this already? its going to have to be totally custom. you'd have to get it molded into the console, then all painted so it wouldnt look crappy. i dont think it would be worth the time, energy, or money, unless you have a completely custom show truck that you enter into shows Quote
pimp ss Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 show mine every weekend but im not sure why you would want that a tv is much cooler Quote
