Nightshift Posted May 13, 2007 Report Share Posted May 13, 2007 The A/C compressor on the SS bought the farm, self destructed. The SS just turned 17,000 miles and off warranty for over a year. The servicing GMC dealer set me up with the Chevrolet dealer down the street. Davis Chevrolet 'goodwilled' the entire job, compressor, belt, orifice, tensioner, etc... Saved my ass a grand.
