RacerJJ Posted May 16, 2007 Report Share Posted May 16, 2007 (edited) The man most responsible for building California Dragway (Fontana) into such a great facility, Dave Danish, passed away from a massive heart attack on Tuesday, 5/15. Dave was a great friend and great manager to everyone at the track. He will be missed. He recently had resigned and was heading back to Arizona to manage SIR in Tuscon. California Speedway had already hired a new manager for the track so his passing will not effect anything there. I know most people here didn't really know this person but it's still a great loss to the automotive community.
