1 Fast SS
Mine worked out just fine. I had an 05' GMC 5.3 before my SS with the Volant. All I did was switched everything over to my SS and used the OEM gromment and it worked fine. No problems ever since. The only problem I had, was with the little gasket from the MAF to the box. It wore out from changing it, so I just made my own from gasket material.
Dylan06SS
Sounds like a BS excuse to have a seperate part for the SS... the VHO/VMAX, SS are identical under the hood so there should be no difference in parts.
slammedbowtie
i called them. the difference between the two they offer for the 6.0 is one comes with a thicker gasket to the throttle body, they said the stick mass aif flow sensor gasket is what they send cuz its thicker. so just use the old one. i did and it still isnt tight enough at all. they said tighten the band clamp. yeah ok its gonna close the gap in the plastic tube. bs! im gonna get a rubber plumbing reducer that should work beautifully!
