04silveradoclone07ss
ya i forgot about that one. is it just like any other side molding??
NashSS
yup I had the same ls badging on my s10. They should come off without problem but your fingers are going to hurt like hell if take everything off in one day. Just a fair warning for ya
blackvert
just wait for a hot day and slowly pull up the edge of the moulding.......use the floss to cut the tape that holds it to the truck. Ususally the OEM tape is a white foam material that tends to rip instead of peel off. I just removed the W/T tailgate cap on my truck so I could install my RST wing this weekend and had the whole area cleaned up in under 10 mins. PatrickSilverado
Invest in a stripper wheel man i did my whole lwr door moldings with the stripper wheel in the same amount of time it took me to take off just two little tailgate badges by hand. 04silveradoclone07ss
ya i have a stripper wheel from work when i had to remove decals of a cop car. wont that mess up the black, it kind of messed up the white on the cop cars?? well its going to get painted so it wont matter. and also i havent found seats yet, and im pissed becuase i want leather. i might have found a console and im happy about that
montanass
The stripper wheels shouldn't be hard on paint if used correctly, I've used a couple to remove old pin-stripes and some double stick tape and had no issues on a black truck. raandoggy
I like the looks of the stock SS rims. They will look even better when that truck starts looking more like an SS.
