scandore
Hey guys I was just wondering if anybody has switched from the Superchips to a PCM tune such as Westers. Current mods are: Volant intake Flowmaster muffler Superchips programmer Coming soon: ZO6 Cam install (got it free from friend with a 2003 ZO6, hope it works well) JBA headers ( I'am in California or else I would go with different headers) Any info would be helpful thanks a million SCANDORE. SilveradoSS04
From what I've seen you should notice a big difference. The westers will probably be way better. You should also talk to farmtruc...
MustBBrent
if you live near San Antonio, central Texas, definitely give Farmtruc a call, Nelson Performance aka Farmtruc Otherwise, he or wester's garage do wonders with the ls-1 truck's PCM. I definitely want to hear about the Z06 CAM install! Did you get springs to go with the CAM? I am considering the LS-1 Hot CAM or one by MTI Performance They have some high lift CAMs that produce some hellacious Torque "according to their sales guys ;) . scandore
I definitely want to hear about the Z06 CAM install! Did you get springs to go with the CAM? My local motor builder says he has done a ZO6 cam in a 2003 Denali and you do not need to change the springs. So far he has not steered me wrong. As for the gains he says it should be around 50-60hp @ the flywheel possiblely more after a good tune. The only worries I've got is he said it will have a slight lowel (or how ever you spell that) at 2000 rpms. I will definately contact farmtruc this week.
